Our Mission Statement:
It is the mission of the Indiana Conference of Seventh-day Adventists to empower members, pastors, churches, and schools in our territory to share the biblical truths of the gospel message and the good news of a risen and soon-returning Savior with their friends and communities.

Vision for the Future:
In May of 2015 the Indiana pastors and conference administrators prayed and studied together for three days at Timber Ridge Camp to ask the Lord to give direction on what He would have us to do for the next five years. The Big Five+ are major initiatives that resulted from our time together. The Indiana Conference Executive Committee further defined the Big Five+ and eventually voted in May of 2016 a strategic plan as a way forward in doing the Lord’s work in our state. Here below are the five strategic goals the Indiana Conference is focusing on through 2020.

Strategic Goals for 2015-2000:

1. Promote outreach and evangelism
2. Empower leadership among laity
3. Foster Adventist Christian Education
4. Focus upon youth/young adult spiritual leadership development
5..Support our pastors and teachers
+ Prepare for General Conference 2020 in Indianapolis

Further Input/Thoughts:
We believe the Holy Spirit works through the body of believers in these final days. Which is why we would like to invite you to join with us and pray for God’s leading and direction. Would you please take some time and reflect on these Big Five+ goals and give us your feedback? We would appreciate your recommendations for action plans to accompany the above initiatives. Our desire is to participate with God’s people from all parts of the state with mutually agreed upon action plans. We covet the energy which the Holy Spirit offers to accomplish Jesus’ mission in Indiana.
